Bill Coleman is an internationally acclaimed photographer based in central PA. After serving in World War II, Bill majored in English Literature and graduated from Penn State in 1949. Soon after, he opened a flourishing portrait studio where he employed his signature style of portraiture to capture thousands of residents, families, students, and business leaders.

When not in the studio, Bill captured numerous iconic Penn State images as well as some classic shots from the State College environs. He is best known for his documentation of life in a small, Old Order Amish community which he has been photographing for more than 40 years.
